Today we ended Term One on a high with our Junior School Council and Mrs Lambert hosting a delicious breakfast for all of our students. This was followed by our Easter Bonnet Parade in which we all had a blast parading around the basketball court. Mr A even came back to assist with the judging. Thanks to the Parents Association for organising another great Easter Raffle

It was fantastic to see James Murray, an Upwey Primary School parent and our Science in Schools partner, discuss the Mt Burnett observatory on ABC News. 80th Anniversary 1934 – 2014 Upwey Primary School has had its fair share of ups and downs. We are still here, providing excellent opportunities for all of our students and the community. Here are a couple of old newspaper articles that we found in the archives.
The April 6th Working Bee was very productive. Almost 15 adults and not quite as many kids turned up to lend a hand. We focussed on the car park area. Off With Their Hair! What an amazing sight! Upwey Primary School community members volunteered to have their heads shaved as a part of The World’s Greatest Shave in order to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.
