Established in 2019 our Makerspace was developed to foster a greater interest and engagement in STEM and STEM related careers. As a sustainable school Upwey Primary School prides itself on it's resourceful and sustainable Makerspace which makes use of donated, unwanted, surplus resources from community members and local businesses. Making use of recycled goods allows students to think sustain-ably when creating designed solutions and think "outside the box" when considering how we can reuse to minimise waste.
